Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GuildCraft ("the Service"), including our Discord bot and web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including guild administrators, crafters, and requesters. Additional terms may apply to specific features or premium subscriptions.

2. Description of Service

GuildCraft provides a crafting management system for gaming communities, consisting of:

  • A Discord bot for managing crafting requests and crafter profiles
  • A web dashboard for advanced configuration and management
  • Integration with various MMO games for profession and recipe tracking
  • Analytics and reporting features for guild management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You must have a valid Discord account in good standing to use the Service. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service.

4. Account Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your Discord account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
  • Not share your account access with others

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or advertisements
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the Service (except our official bot)
  • Collect or harvest user data without consent
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

6. Guild Administrator Responsibilities

If you are a guild administrator using our Service, you additionally agree to:

  • Ensure your guild members are aware of and comply with these Terms
  • Configure the Service responsibly and in accordance with Discord guidelines
  • Not use the Service in ways that could harm your guild members
  • Manage access permissions appropriately within your guild
  • Take reasonable steps to prevent abuse of the Service within your guild

7. Premium Services and Payments

GuildCraft may offer premium features or subscriptions ("Premium Services") for a fee. By purchasing Premium Services, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Accept that subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled

Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team for assistance with billing issues.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to Premium Services continues until the end of your billing period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by GuildCraft and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (crafter profiles, configurations, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Game Content: Game names, item names, profession names, and related content belong to their respective game publishers. GuildCraft is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUILDCRAFT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GuildCraft and its operators, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit or create through the Service

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or the Service
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies
  • Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GuildCraft operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website
  • Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Announcing changes in our Discord server (for material changes)

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GuildCraft regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
